No features are show in this field on the Inworth Tithe Map of 1838 (Plot 19).
A square feature is shown in this location within the larger field on the First Edition OS 25-inch map (1876).
This is subsequently shown as a circular pond on later editions (1897, 1920).
Google Earth images from the late 20th / early 21st century indicate an unploughable patch which has subsequently grown into a large natural pond.
